Day 3 completed with an average of about 24km/h. Although the road from Klawer to Clanwilliam was difficult due to steep hills, and a lot of traffic, the group really did extremely well.
Sleeping tonight in the lovely Clanwilliam and will be taking on the scenic road of the West-Coast to Langebaan tomorrow at 06:00.
While typing this blog, I can still here the after shocks of a “court hearing” in which each member of the group was charged with a “crime”.
Our judge, Jacey Folscher, struggled to keep order in the court.
Crimes committed included acting to “young” for your age, talking about unwanted topics, spousal indifference, forgetting to pack your bag of patience, being to quiet, being to loud, being to strong... It was good to see the group having some fun. It gave me the feeling that they are very confident, motivated and relaxed about the final two days of the tour.
Karsten Wes-Kaap, prepare yourself for our arrival, Somerset-West will never be the same again!!
Regards
Elizca
