Booked
into the Hantam Hotel this afternoon after 9:52 hours on the road, bliss!
Today
seemed easier compared to Monday however, the long distance and the strong
winds of yesterday must have put some strain on the cyclists, putting
additional strain on today's ride.
Nevertheless, brave and determined as we know them, they are going
full speed ahead.
The
crew did an awesome job again today, ensuring the cyclist have enough to eat
& drink to keep them hydrated. Adoons
& Turkie, the drivers of the two support vehicles, are also doing a
excellent job protecting the group of cyclist.
It must be draining to keep that speed for so long. Thank you for the very important part you
play in the success of this tour.
I
tried to gather some inside information on what is happening and being said on
the bicycles, and the stories, or rather the topics discussed, will NOT be
mentioned on this blog. However, this information is for sale at a reasonable
price.
